Wow. My girlfriend and I have been saying this would be a good idea for years. If only it were a real possibility.

Incidentally, why do the profiles list religion as a standard field? I'd be far more interested in knowing what the candidates' main areas of interest were - religion (possibly excepting the RC church's take on abortion) doesn't seem like it should be a sensible motivation to vote for someone in most cases.

I guess it's not any sillier than the terminator being gov. I liked the response of Martin Sheen when asked to run for office..."I think that they are confusing celebrity with credibility". Amen Martin. Do you find this valuable?

I've also entertained the thought, embellished with the prospect of Whoopi Goldberg
as Oprah's running mate! Why not? This scenario is much preferred over a president-elect having earlier in his career co-starred with a chimp named "Bonzo"!

We've had none because you certainly can't say judging by his behavior that Kennedy was one.
