Why?

Why would he make a great President? Before this turns into a flame war, I am trying to ask an honest question and get an honest answer. My wife and I try to look at each person running and make up our minds. We do not vote along either party line, we try to find who we believe to be the best person. Asking this sort of question in other forums has turned loose a lot of people who are very vocal in their ignorance of being able to carry on an intelegent conversation. I would really like to know why he should be the next president. Saying that it is time for a black or a women to be president is ludicrous. We as Americans deserve whoever is the best qualified, whoever they be. Some say that it is time for a change. What change? Why. Don't just say it and expect everyone to say yea sure let's change, show real leadership and say what is wrong with something and what should specificatly to fix it. Change just for the sake of change is a disater waiting to happen. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

To be honest, I can't think of a single reason to vote for him. He has the same experience level as Dan Quayle or Hillary Clinton. I cannot think of a single accomplishment he has made other than to be elected. If we're now picking candidate simply because of their skin color or gender, then we have certainly regressed.
