Democrats for 2008
Jun 30 2006, 7:43 PM EDT When are the Democrats going to stop trying to emulate the arrogant Republicans, stop fighting among themselves and give us someone that we can vote for in 2008. The people (remember those?) are dying to kick the Republicans out of the White House. After (up to now) 6 years of the most inept and darn right dangerous misrule of President Bush and his pathetic administration, all they need is someone who has the strength of character to espouse a set of principals for a change. At least President Bush has them no matter how crazy they appear. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Democrats for 2008
Jul 8 2006, 7:29 PM EDT Actually, except for that little matter of the war in Iraq, I think Democrats are pretty united on the issues, or they're willing to compromise. But the war is a doozy. I live in Washington state and I just cannot fathom Sen. Maria Cantwell's position on the war. It's disheartening. I will vote for her, but right now, I'm not getting off my fat ass to help her.
