Question: President Gore?
Jun 17 2006, 4:12 AM EDT
If you believe that this is a just world and that all that should be, will be, then it is only fitting that Pretender Bush be impeached (indicted!) and President Al Gore be elected (re-elected?) in 2008.

Gore should simply apologize for 2000, for his weakness, or naivety. For not standing up as he should have, demanding, not for him but for us, that the votes be counted, ALL the votes, and then just move on, all the way to the White House.

I agree with all that you are saying except that I do not think that AL GORE has anything at all to apologize to the American public for. First of all, none of us knows what was going on behind the scenes in a benign or threatening way. We've had enough Democrats who have died in mysterious plane crashes that anything is possible. A devious and devastating series of events played out on our political stage in front of the whole world and there was much at stake. Some call it weakness but I say that AL GORE handled the situation with a great amount of dignity. We had a domestic political situation that we were dealing with but we, also, had an international arena where much damage could have been done had the parties involved not dealt with it in the best way possible. No, it shouldn't have happened the way it did....and, perhaps, if AL GORE had foreseen all of the horrific things that would come out of the BUSH administration in advance, along with the rest of us, he and all of us might have thought that, despite the critical circumstances, that we would still be better off as a nation and in front of the world at large, to rise up and forcefully take back the Presidency....but hind sight is ALWAYS perfect.....and to err is so very human. IT'S TIME FOR OUR PRESIDENT AL GORE! Do you find this valuable?

Al Gore is not suited to be president. He contested the results of the election which has brought the country where it is today with the current polarity between the two major political parties. This single act has caused more damage than George W. Bush has caused. I truly hope that Al Gore decides not to run. We as a country need a moderate as president that can unify the country and not the likes of Al Gore who would be divider in chief. Someone from the middle who can compromise to represent the mass majority and not the fringe elements that seem to have control of the two major parties. Do you find this valuable?
