Senator vs Governor definately does matter.
The last President who was a Senator was LBJ.

I can't vote for a liberal anymore with the likes of Mike Moore,Jimmy Carter,Howard Dean,Crazy Al Gore,Jesse Jackson,Jeanne Gorrofolo-or however you spell her name, Al Franklin. I mean look at these nut cases, not to mention other ones in the party like John Kerry. Crap, we'd all be dead by the time a democrat administration is up in 4 years.
