Immigration

We have voted Democtatic and contributed to the Democtatic Party in the past. This election we are supporting (money and volunteer work) to the Party and Candidates that fight FOR BORDER SECURITY ,PUNISHING COMPANIES THAT EMPLOYEE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AND FIGHT FOR THE U S CITIZENS. We owe this to our children, grandchildren and our neighbors that are being forced to compete with illegal immigrants for jobs, education, and health care. Many of these illegal immigrants are involved in criminal acts. Many drive without a license and Insurance. They are involved in above average number of accidents and a higher than average number of Hit and Run accidents, resulting in higher insurance costs to those who have insurance. Then there is the fact that they enter the US without medical exams and bring the potential to spread disease. Just to mention a few facts relating to this issue. There are many good hard working illegal immigrants and each one of their cases should be considered by itself, not lumpted together with the other 12,000,000 illegal immigrant cases. With about 3,000,000 illegal immigrants a year entering the US from Mexico how can anyone say that none of them are terrorists? (Its been over 1650 days since "Sept. 11" and still our borders are not secure) Our military has secured borders of other countries in a matter of days. We should ask our politicians why our borders are not secure. Please ask them. 9  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

we are involved in the wrong war in the wrong country,i cannot believe we can secure another country while politicians say they doubt our southern borders could ever be secured.while our president sees fit to rotate our national guard during their summer camps where he admits they will hardly be noticed.a show of force is what is needed with our regular troops. remember shock an awe ?and for the laws pertaining to using military personnel in the states ,is this not a federal border as mexico seems to be another country.just a thought lets give our veterans coming out of the military training as border patrol and give them the jobs mexicans just won't do! the american people don't want $3.00 a gallon gas, they want out of a war they feel we rode into on a 911 bus,nor do we want any kind of amnesty which means they must leave the us and get in line behind the people all ready applying legally.employers must be held responsible for their employees with fines already the law.do you realize if you were stoped for a traffic violation you are in more trouble than an illegal.local police must get involved . where are the democrats? why do they not strike while the iron is hot.with so many issues mid americans have you have remained silent.if you are looking for the latino vote in a fence riding effort ,it could be costly.the american working class that support this country, just ain't buying.

You are 100% right on this issue. We have no idea who is coming across our borders, or what their intentions are. The border must be secured first before anything else can be done on the immigration issue. We tried the "amnesty" thing back in 1986 and it didn't work then, and it won't work now. We need to learn from our mistakes, not repeat them.

To many people are ignoring this issue, democrats included. Some are saying it's just a Karl Rove trick to get democrats off the main issues, but this is a main issue, and if you ask me Rove is using reverse phsycology here because he wants the Democrats to drop the ball on this issue in order for the republicans to get the votes of those who are upset about what is going on.

While democrats cater to the Spanish vote, the republicans will be getting the crossover voters who are fed up with what has been going on for years, without any of our leaders trying to stop the flow of illegals into this country.
