Evidence?

Do you have any evidence that the NSA is involved in any way with marijuana busts or breaking up peace groups? I didn't think so ... 2  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

For starters, on Jan. 10 the Baltimore Sun reported that the NSA had been spying on the Quaker group Pledge of Resistance-Baltimore. On Feb. 22, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported that the FBI had been spying on Raging Grannies, Not in Our Name and Ground Zero. There are more. But the fact is, there was no evidence that the NSA was wiretapping citizen's phone calls without warrants, either. Nor was there evidence that the NSA was involved in collecting calling data on tens of millions of Americans. What makes you think they aren't using this domestic spying any darn way they want? Seriously. What makes you think that? Do you find this valuable?

The latest is that ABC investigative reporter Brian Ross was told the NSA is listening to his phone calls to uncover "leakers". That Americans are not upset about this befuddles me. No one will ever have evidence of corruption if this administration is able to keep using "national security" to keep the public in the dark. Maybe, the Republicans that don't have a problem w/ this NSA...should think about the future. What if all this NSA garbage is "legal" and it's still on the books...by the time Hillary or Gore roll around? Will you be comforted by that? Everyone should be bothered by this. No government entity has ever existed that was not misused or corrupted.
