another Hidden Cost of Iraq: Oil
Apr 29 2006, 9:21 AM EDT The president has asked for $92 Billion to continue funding the Iraqi war. That's a lot but not near as much as the additional price we ar paying for oil. Because of reduced supply from Iraq and general mid-east jitters, there is about a $20/barrel factor within the $70+/barrel we are paying. Since the US burns 26 million barrels a day or $190 billion each year Americans are paying for Oil because of the war. 1 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |
