Several weeks ago before the Senate Bill was passed, I wrote to the DNC and told them that I thought Democratic leaders were wrong on this issue and it would lead to defeat in the mid-term elections. Americans are fed up with all of the illegals in this country and the fact that they are demostrating and demanding goods and services that they do not pay for. The election in California proved this and now all Republicans are jumping on this band-wagon and will be using it strongly against the Democrats who voted for this Senate Bill. People want the border secured and our laws enforced on employers who are providing the incentives for them to come. We want a way to verify documentation these people are presenting and we want those who have stolen identities to be deported. That is the ONLY way we will stem this invasion that is taking place on our soil. By supporting the Senate bill (which is almost identical to 1986) Democrats will lock themselves out of winning a majority in either house. I hope that this party will realize this and become smarter in dealing with this problem which affects EVERY American in this country. Only a "get tough" stance will turn this tide of illegals entering our country daily.

I favor guest worker programs...Amnesty is not a four letter word to me either....This entire new debate about illegal immigration is just another topic to divide us...They have had years to do something with this issue...Why now? Spending millions to build walls...spending millions to send them back...Doesn't make much since to me. Trying to turn this into a National Security issue is laughable to me...

It's no surprise the American public is unaware of the ramifications of the invasion of rights by Bush and the NSA --it seems they haven't been aware of anything since the 2000 election! It's like they don't pay attention.

I think it is time for all Democrat Presidential candidates to campaign positively.
We are hungry for great national leaders like President John Kennedy and Rev. Martin Luther King and others. Fought hard for our America, the Beautiful, Land of freedom. Don't let your campaign leaders and strategists pull us.down and lose it for us. Jane, a proud Democrat

I guess Rove is already at it again. I have watched several News shows this afternoon...including Fox (I know..I'll soon shower)...anywho...They (republicans) are now blaming enviromentalists for the gas crisis. If only we had passed Anwar..none of this would be happening. Instead of blaming a Prez and Veep deeply involved in the oil company...instead of having a windfall tax...instead of cutting out the oil companies huge tax benefits...they are seriously trying to blame enviromentalist for this problem.
Fox had some screaming little elfish guy..who was debating a Green Peace fellow. You know whos side Fox was on right? I can't believe the Republicans are actually getting through their prepared rhetoric with straight faces. Now, all you can do is sit back and see how many lemmings will believe this rot.

PLEASE, pass the website link and info on to others.
I have been putting together a website where Hillary people can have their voices heard, in a PUBLIC arena. This website is NOT a replacement for any group, it is an adjunct to all groups: http://hillary-clintons-voice.com You can tell people, quickly, why you voted for her (one entry per person) through the Quick Note Form (email address required for possible publishing consent): http://hillary-clintons-voice.com/quick-note/ You can also talk in detail about your reasons on the Blog: http://blog.hillary-clintons-voice.com The Blog also has an event calendar. Use the 'comment' link on this post to tell me about any Hillary events: http://blog.hillary-clintons-voice.com/hillary-clinton-events-25 No Obama-bashing allowed; these entries will be removed. This site is not about 'attacking Obama'; it is about sharing the reasons Hillary is the BEST choice for President. If you want to compare her record vs. his, great; but no racial comments or ’attack mode’ entries. This is not about debate. Obama Supporters are NOT allowed. Any Obama support comments or Hillary bashing comments will be removed, promptly! If you have a LOT to say, let me know. I can set you up to publish it on the blog, or publish it on the main website. PLEASE, everyone, help out with this project. Hillary Clinton is OUR candidate! Let’s tell everyone WHY! Take Care, Sharon - http://hillary-clintons-voice.com Contribute To Hillary - http://www.hillaryclinton.com/contribute/evhr

She has a tendency to speak with a southern drawl when she is in front of blacks. A lot has been said about this. Far a comeback she said ,"I think America is ready for a multilingual president," . All this time I thought there was a diference between an accent and an actual language. I should sue all the schools that I have attended for not making this more clear. I am multilingual too! I can put this on job resumes and impress all of my friends. My kids can put down that they are multilingual on College admission papers. I bet there are alot more people who didn't know that they were multilingual too. Thank you hillary for setting us all straight. Now, if she could just tell me how to spell potato, or is it potatoe?

I received an email from a buddy for this really funny "No We Can't" video for John McCain. I thought it would be great for the site since the political discussions can get heated it would be a nice break. I thought the original Barack Obama "Yes We Can" was kind of cheesy but I included it to compare the two..

Passage of Florida legislative bill HB 537 has caused 1,684,390 US voters to become disenfranchised. Unless the RNC & DNC policies are changed, this could happen to you some day; regardless of your state or party affiliation. The contents of this website will discuss this bill, what happened; and what you can do to try to reverse this situation and prevent it from recurring. Please help us reinstate the voting rights of Florida Democrats. How you can help:
Visit the website http://florida-delegates.com Read the Position Summary Section http://florida-delegates.com/pages/our-position.php Visit the What To Do Page and follow our action suggestions http://florida-delegates.com/pages/your-help/what-to-do.php Pass this information on to others. Please keep these facts in mind as you read the contents of this website: * The Florida Democratic primary election ballot had all democratic candidates listed. * Florida Dems have been disenfranchised, through no fault of their own * HB537 was written by a Florida Republican to change Florida's primary date. * A state legislature has interfered with it's constituents National voting rights. * The Florida Democratic Party did NOT change this date, the legislature did. * The Florida legislature has an overwhelming Republican majority. * The House of Representatives in Florida have 41 Democrats; 71 Republicans. * The Senate in Florida have 14 Democrats; 26 Republicans * The state of Florida has a Republican Governor. * The citizens of the state of Florida did NOT vote on this date change. * HB537 was passed in May 2007 & legislatively changed the Florida primary date. * This date was, and still is, unalterable by the Florida Democrats. I own the domain name www.republicanhell.com and I'm looking for content. I want to create a Web Site where people can visit and read about the shear incompetence of the Republican Party. Story after story about Republican Preachers who do meth and have gay sex; Senators who work the bathrooms at airports; Congressmen who try to pick-up male pages. Vice-Presidents who shoot their friends; Republican Presidents from Herbert Hoover to Nixon to George W, who were and are dangerous men; One hundred hypocritical quotes from Rush Limbaugh; The accepted senility of Ronald Reagan in office; A complete list of Republican investigations and indictments. The best editorial cartoons trashing Republicans; Short videos of stupid Republican speeches and blunders. YES!!!
Hell, what Democrat wouldn’t visit that site. And…for that matter, what Republican wouldn’t visit it to see who is in Republican Hell? All we need is a few nice contributions from Democrats to get the site up and running. Once up, word-of-mouth and free press will spread like wildfire. We must continue kicking Republicans while they are down. Don’t believe me? Ask Karl Rove. He kicked us for 8 years. I own the domain. Let’s do this!

Wow, the kids over on the DNC website's blogs do more to drive away voters than engage in useful discourse or to bring in new members to the Party. Worst among them are a coffee clatch of young female attack dogs. Stay away from THAT forum. Happy to be on board here with you more enlightened folks!

National Primary Day
Do you think that 2 states should play such a large factor in determining who will be each party's nominee (NH and Iowa) ??? or Should there be one National Primary Day where all states have voting on the same day? |

I think that it is time for America to stop turning its back on Global Warming Issues. Write your congressman and show them how you feel about it. Do you think that America should support sources that Generate clean energy through solar and wind sources, stop mining practices that destroy mountains, and have policies that protect wetlands, lakes, and forests?
