John Edwards and Barbara Boxer. They are smart, articulate , gutsy, and about as honest as any politician can be. Against great odds (an incredibly conservative government and country) perhaps they could get the U.S. to look like what the U.S. is supposed to look like and be ---you know that cliche about inclusion of everyone of any race, religion, gender, and gender orientation. That old thing--rule of law. Privacy. A world leader on environmental, economic, health and social issues. Quality education for everyone. The end of poverty in 30 years --it is conceivable with the right people leading us: Edwards and Boxer.

Yesterday I was at a major gas station(Mobil-Exxon) protesting for an "oil free congress"

Although I was working as the Rochester,NY Coordinator for MoveOn, I had my "John Edwards" cap on.

Net result; one Republican finger, several hundred friendly honks and three people asked me for my "John Edwards-Coordinator" cards and/or where they could get supportive material. In these busy times we can always wear the high visibiliy Edwards caps while involved in anything from protests to going shopping.

I also wear my "John Edwards" shirt and button. I carry a supply of these, and the bumper stickers, wherever I go. Have had to order several refills...The Dem. Store is the best and everything is union made.

This is my dream team. I would have liked to see Hillary up there, but her IRAQ stance is most upsetting. Many women and most Republicans don't like her, and she is not a particularly good cross-over candidate. Feingold is a star to watch.

While undergoing a heart-catheter, my right leg was injured by an intern doctor from the Duke Hospital, from across the street from the Durham V.A. Hoaspital. I recall the incident. A doctor of the V.A. had to take over the heart-catheter procedure from some intern from the Duke Hospital because he didn't follow the proper procedure from which he was training. The proper procedure was not followed and I now have a severe blockage in my right leg and I now may have to possibly lose my right-leg, i.e. removal, due to the incompetence on the part of the student that caused this problem. The doctor that supervised this procedure, has blamed this severe blockage in my leg on everything except the incompetance of the intern, other than the lack of proper training of the student that performed the cathertization of my heart. I now face the loss of my right leg and I now have symptons in my left leg, as well.
I request that I be treated by a civilian surgeon as I have no faith, whatsoever, in the Durham Veteran's Hospital and their attending physician's and even less in their trainees from across the street at the Duke Hospital.
Please, Senator Edwards, I am a 100% Service-Connected, Honorably-Discharged Veteran of the Viet-Nam Era. As long as I have been connected with the Veterans Administration {November, 1975 until present} I have been less than properly cared for. I didn't join the United States Air Force to be subjected to such sub-level after-service Medical Care. Please help me Sir!

the current administration says the ecomy is strong. i am on a 401 retirement made up of stock and stock options.
under eight years with dem bill clinton the djia grew 8000 points. under the current admin, the djia has not moved.
bottom line, i've had no 401 income. it's time to get someone like john edward, a democrat, in there that understand
people have to live after retirement. ps, i'm also a vietnam vet, i'm proud of that, but we all know how that turned out.

Edwards is a small mind that has zero chance of winning anything!! He will never be in the White House, It and both branches of congress will be held by the Republicans! get used to it , the democrates are week and will not take over anything! They screwed up this country to start with. clinton was a murderer and responsible for 9/11! deal with that! The truth hurts, doesnt it?

The Republicans are corrupt, dishonest, and incompetent, while the Democrats are lost, spineless, triangulated, and meaningless. I urge to lead a third party movement that would be green, pragmatic, populist, and tough. The nation is more than ready for a new direction -- and a real leader !!!
