In the interest of preserving Bush's tax cuts for the rich, the Homeland Security budget has been cut to $740 million. That is a THIRD of what it should be. The ports still stand naked. The borders are porous. The nation's most symbolic targets are still not fully protected. And what little money the Republicans are willing to spend to protect America is being shifted to the districts of powerful Republican members of Congress in the Midwest.

B.S. talks and money walks, friends. And we've been hearing a lot of Republican BS about security.
