  • Thread RE: Time for all Democrats to campaign positve.
"Well then you certainly don't want McCain. illary will finnaly change our country, and clean up ALL of Bush's mistakes."
I'm not happy about McCain getting the nomination but elections are always about the lesser of evils. At least he is realistic about the threats to our great nation: Radical Islam and Hillary's socialist agenda.

Mr. Bush made some blunders, but what president hasn't? I'm sure looking forward to a nice sceck from Uncle Sam - getting the American people their money back has got to be a good thing. Oh, and here's some help fromt he gas prices - CUT THE TAXES ON IT (an important step none of the politicians are taking).

  • Thread RE: not again
"No one in the democratic party is a viable candidate. If you are looking for a viable candidate try Rudy Giulianni or Condoleeza Rice (if you prefer a woman in office)."
You're right...Iraq war...Katrina...Wire Taps...K street...Schiavo...Dubai ports...Gas prices...Cheney shooting a man in the face...DEFICIT...Scooter and Karl...I can't possibly see the need for change...it's a utopia here. As far as your two choices...Condoleeza Rice is nothing more than a weak attempt to cross out Hillary. She is nothing more than a Bush groupie. Guilianni was in serious trouble in NYC b4 9/11. It will all come out again if he runs. He probably will...because all the republicans have is emotional and sentimental value from 9/11. Hopefully, this has run its course and Americans will see we need a change.

  • Thread 2008 president My ideal president will work for the people, not for their own agenda. Male or female is not an issue. They need to be able to have some knowledge as how to fix the mess in Iraq, get insurance for every American, STOP the talk of Americans not wanting the jobs Illegals are taking. I do not know of one American that would'nt take those jobs if the Employers would pay a decent wage. Increase the wages to where a person is doing more than just surviving. Take away all freebies that Congress and The House receives. Realize that it is the American People that pay their wages and it should be earned. Stop the Illegal Immegrants from crossing over, the middle class has borne the brunt of everything. Get in touch with those that do'nt pay a big contribution. We are broke from low wages , high gas prices and paying taxes so the rich can get richer. Remember we out number them! Our vote will get you in!! When we speak, listen. We are not dumb. We do have a better grasp on issues than most of the politicians do. We live those issues. Find that canidate and all Americans can prosper Thread location: PageDesign the perfect Democractic candidate!

  • Thread RE: I hope Gore runs in '08
"I did not nor do not respect either Clinton. President Clinton violated our trust with Monica Lewinski. How would like to come home to a husband that cheated and lied to you? Well Clinton did that to this nation in "our bedroom"...the oval office. He disrespected the country and it's people. He was selfish and thought about momentary gratification. This sent a message to the American people, I am only concerned about myself and my own satisfaction. Well we heard him, and if he can lie about this, get away with it, then why shouldn't we do it also? This ultimately leads to caos. We need someone who will tell us I care about what is right and wrong, and show us that he means this. I believe Al Gore does."
Get over President Clinton's Sex life! Who Cares? He was one of the best president's that this country has had. I would vote for him in a heartbeat if he could run again. People like you and your way of thinking is one of the reason's our country is in the shape it's in now. THINK about what can be done to stop this war and bring our troops home, THINK about our border security, THINK about the rising gas prices. THINK about things that matter. By the way, the oval office is NOT my nor your bedroom. GET OVER IT!!
