I think it is time for all Democrat Presidential candidates to campaign positively.
We are hungry for great national leaders like President John Kennedy and Rev. Martin Luther King and others. Fought hard for our America, the Beautiful, Land of freedom. Don't let your campaign leaders and strategists pull us.down and lose it for us. Jane, a proud Democrat

Presidents these days are two old they should be between 35 and 55 years old. The reason I say because most old people have heart attacks between 56 and 80 years old.

Can someone please explain this to me? He says that his health plan will cover everyone. It will help everyone save about 2,500 a year in the health care. He also said that people who can't afford health care will be covered. How can I save 2500 a year and someone who can't afford it also be covered. The only way that I can see it is if he raises taxres somewhere els to cover those people. I save 2500 on medical but pay 2500 or more in higher taxes somewhere else.

Obama voted to allow the good folks out there to destroy our flag. Guess I got a little teary eyed and messed up, but be clear about one thing, our media and dems are out for blood. Feel sorry for the children if these wierdos get in!

It doesn't matter that Obama is black or that his real father was muslim. What matters is his voting record so far. Abortion, partial birth abortion, allowing a minor to be escorted across state lines without parental permission - for an abortion and voted against it being ok to destroy our flag (you know, the flag so many DIED FOR. The man is a fraud and so is the party and media that proclaimed his so called stardom just 2 years ago. Oh, and By the way,

Why would he make a great President? Before this turns into a flame war, I am trying to ask an honest question and get an honest answer. My wife and I try to look at each person running and make up our minds. We do not vote along either party line, we try to find who we believe to be the best person. Asking this sort of question in other forums has turned loose a lot of people who are very vocal in their ignorance of being able to carry on an intelegent conversation. I would really like to know why he should be the next president. Saying that it is time for a black or a women to be president is ludicrous. We as Americans deserve whoever is the best qualified, whoever they be. Some say that it is time for a change. What change? Why. Don't just say it and expect everyone to say yea sure let's change, show real leadership and say what is wrong with something and what should specificatly to fix it. Change just for the sake of change is a disater waiting to happen.

What ever election cycle it happens, I believe that Sen. Obama will be the first African-American president and if he continues to do as well as he has been, we'll be all the better for it.
