Stop the flow of illegals and protect this country and you'll win the vote for the next two elections w/o a hitch. Do it or lose the chance of a century to do something that matters to this country. We need to stop them from taking our culture. If yopu don't care then it's true what I have been thinking about democrats, your all against the US.

I think Republican wingnuts and talk radio blowhards are using the fuzzy fears of people like you to distract from the real problems this country is facing, like the loss of our civil liberties, the erosion of the middle class, the regressing of our tax system, the establishment of permanent aristocracy, the continued isolation of this country in the world of nations and the rise of popular Fascism.

If Republican xenophobes in the House get their way, the economy of the inland Northwest -- where I live -- would collapse overnight. Nothing they -- or you -- are suggesting will solve the problem. Nothing. You will raise some dust, spend a boat load of money, and you will have done nothing to solve the problem. The cherries will be picked by Mexican citizens or they won't be picked at all. Document them. Make them pay taxes. Let them go home when the harvest is done.

"Couldn't have said it better myself."
A MORE CORRECT STATEMENT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MADE!

The Dems have no "bawls." I like Gore and Kerry---but why did both of them drop the ball ? They should have organized a protest the likes of which this country has never before seen. Elected Democrats nationwide should have boycotted the House and Parliament. Press Conferences should have been held in a different city IN EACH STATE DAILY ! State Committees should have found ways to oppose "stealing the vote". Gore won the vote in Florida, but succumbed to pressure. Kerry knew the voting machines were rigged against him, but did not fight back. They, along with the Democratic National Committee accepted defeat when they did not have to. They allowed the Republicans to bully them. The Dems gave in like a cheap prostitute in need of a cocaine fix on a saturday night.

Illegals have been entering this country for years. They serve as nannies and many other sources of "cheap labor". The peple who have been exploiting these illegals are Dems., Repubs. and illegal imigrants themselves.
While polls show that most of the voting populatrion want some controls.
The sad political reality is that neither party can afford to alianate the ever increasing Hispanic vote who are virtually all for open boarders and no controls. It was the slight switch of this vote toward the Rpublican Party that causes Kerry to lose the election.

First of all, Patty's response was fantastic. Eloquent, accurate (if not a bit exaggerated at one point), and RELEVANT. My post doesn't promise to be so, but I'll do my best anyway.

Ok, my second "first of all": this country was built ON and BY illegal immigrants. Period. If you don't like it, then as a descendant
of them, you should GTFO. That's assuming you're not Native American.

Next: There is a problem with illegal immigration, though it's not that they're "stealing our culture". They're taking the jobs that we wouldn't do, anyway.

And how, exactly, do they "steal" our culture? Such a thing isn't even possible. They may be becoming less and less the majority, which makes their culture more prevalent, but that simply because THERE ARE MORE OF THEM. Our culture is STILL INTACT. We are still inbred, selfish, consuming, ignorant, sloppy hicks -- with the exception of the dab of aristocratic creamy goodness on top. Don't worry, that's not going anywhere.

If I don't care, then it's that what you say is retarded, not that it's true. And yes. I (possessive) am all against the US. Straw men and circular logic are gonna get you far, buddy.

It's not as though they're engendering a hostile takeover. They can't vote, so they can't rearrange our government.

And if they could vote, I bet they would relish the opportunity; with an average of less than 50% eligible voter turnout, we certainly don't seem to.

Start realizing that we, as citizens of this once-great land, cause the vast majority of our own problems, and you'll be halfway to solving them. Stop looking for scapegoats.

Correction: I meant to say, "They may be becoming less and less the MINORITY". Forgive my slip.

But i thought it was the democrats that wanted to do all the anti gun laws and anti constitution stuff. MAybe both parties should just merge and call themselves the ANTI-AMERICA party. Nowadays, i cant tell the difference between a democrat or a republican.

I think ill vote for any third party or indepnednet that pops up...

Nicely put. on the native american thing though, if you believe in evoultion, they aren't natives either, becasue they came from asia from the middle east from africa... maybe thats why alot of people are aginst the ideal of revoultuion.

Im not against it, but thats because it makes more sense to me now then a ny of the thousands of branches of religion make sense. I think religion is going to more or less die off someday (it wont go away all together, but it wont be as widespread.) God was useful for when humanity couldn't explain why some things happened. He's also a way of ebing a scapegoat in a way, making people think they are havong troubles because they sinned when its really all their god damn fault.
